Is anyone else having problems getting the steam demo to work? I just keep getting the message "Launcher has stopped working" all other games are fine.

Worked fine for me around 10 mins ago. You got any programs that might be causing a conflict running (d3doverrider, overclocking software etc)?

Yeah, stuff like MSI Afterburner, Gigabyte OC Guru can cause issues in cases. Or maybe it's being blocked by your firewall.

It's nothing special anyway. Bike games just aren't as good as the likes of car ones.

Ok, just disabled firewall but still no joy, no overclocking software but do have MSI Afterburner so it may be that, I don't want to uninstall it though as I use it regular.

Might delete the game and download again just in case I got a bad download.

MotoGP games are usually alright, and the arcady Moto Racer 1, 2 and 3 were awesome. Sadly it's the buying public that vote with their wallets... "car ones" indeed

Uninstalled and downloaded again but still no joy. :mad:

Oh well, back to Grid 2.

Success, just had to start steam as administrator and it worked fine.
