Rossi gets new motorcycle track record time :D

Movistar Yamaha’s Rossi silenced the doubters by smashing Casey Stoner’s previous pole record from 2012 by over a second to claim his 61st career pole position. The nine-time World Champion set a 1’32.627, the fastest ever time on a motorbike around the 4.5km track.

Quite surprised by that. I know Rossi is good around here but he is dog slow in qualifying. If he improved his qually performance he'd be running away with the championship by now.

Lorenzo only seems to be able to lead from the start then race a time trail. He's not half as good when he has to come through the field at any point outside of the first couple of laps.
