Thx guys, what i don't get is why the insurance is quite expensive for 2 wheels vs 4 wheels i mean surely a motorcycle in a crash does a lot more damage to its rider than if it hits something which is most likely gonna be a metal box on wheels with airbags for its driver ?

Are you asking why motorbike insurance is a lot cheaper than cars?
What costs to insurance is the third party, a car does far more damage to third parties.
It makes no difference how much you injure yourself or you car/bike(that's taken into account anyway) a motorbike will do far less damage to a third party and thus insurance payouts are far less.

I think he's asking the opposite ;)

Basically a bike is very easy to steal, and (if it has fairings) very expensive to fix if dropped. Its also more than capable of writing off a car if you're going fast enough.

For full license including test fees you're looking at £1000
Insurance £200 for a 500 road bike say - MUCH cheaper than cars
service i'd put aside £200 a year at the least, they go through tyres fast.
£400 for full all season weather, gear devalues hugely 2nd hand and you see a lot of "only worn once, didn't fit"
