Motorola Atrix Bootloader Unlocked!

shame it's an unrealiable peace of crap....

Mine lasted 2 weeks so i sent it back and got a Galaxy S 2 best thing you can do with the failtrix ;)

IMO , it doesn't as I dont think its ready for the market, my personal experience and one echoed on a lot of forums about the Atrix is it will just power off no warning no nothing and spontaniously reboot. For me this was in the space of 2 weeks.

I originally went for the Atrix due to it's dock capability but the 2 that I would use you can get for the GS2. The Car dock and the desk dock, so I will pick these up for my GS2.

My GS2 I have had for 2 weeks now and it's been nothing but a joy to use, no issues what so ever.

My advice steer clear of the Failtrix!!

Edit:

I thought I should add some usage comparison of the hand sets.

The Atrix

GOOD
Feels good in the hand
Good Battery life (around 2 days)
Finger Print Biometrics security (works well but a gimic)
Screen is ok nothing more
The responce of the OS is good

BAD
Poor Camera
Only running Android 2.2
Call quality not very good
Reboots no warning
Shuts off no warning (only way to recover is pull the battery)
Expensive Accesories

The Galaxy S2

Good
Outstanding Screen
Android 2.3.3 (latest as it should be!)
Very Good Camera
Battery is good for a Day or Two depending on usage
Feels great in the hand and is very light
Is reliable (which is a big + and so it should be.)
Sound in call is very good

BAD
Err it doesn't make breakfast
It won't impress girls
Bit of an iPhone clone but does it all better. (Should be a plus really)
Limited by lack of dual core aware apps

thats about it folks make up your own minds, I can't comment on the HTC Sensation but I imagine sense is the only thing going for that according to reviews. So it's a 2 horse race really SGS2 or iPhone 4.

Nice, once they update it to new blur + gingerbread it won't be much different to the Sensation. Even better with stock CM7 :)

You can get US imports for ~£300 atm, bargain!

How is the camera though? If you can get stock Android (or a good Blur?!) running on it smoothly I'll bet it would be pretty decent.

Not as good as the SGS2 5MP compared to 8MP and the screen on the SGS2 is just too good.

Mega pixles aside, the image quality of the shots on the SGS2 again are far superior.
