Motorola Moto G - new budget smartphone champion?

Mine updated fine, but i left a SIM adapter in the Moto G with no sim in it, so couldnt get it out properly. Got the adapter out, and now my nano sim in the adapter doesnt work in there, need a new adapter. Tried an old none working sim, and it too is now stuck in the phone. So cant test what its like. May just need to purchase the 3rd gen instead now.

Have a nano sim myself and in the last week had been searching for users using a micro sim adapter in the moto g, sorry to say but in all likelihood you have bent one of the pins and a new sim adapter will probably do you no good, hope I'm wrong but one of the threads I found had a similar topic and the general consensus was to never ever put a sim adapter into a slot without a sim in it, bent pins pulling it out later. Like I say, I hope I'm wrong...

Yes, i think i have learnt the hard way with this. I put the adapter back in, so it was safe!
 
Had the android M update a week or so now on my 2nd gen moto G, no issues at all. Got myself a 32gb micro sd card formatted as internal memory, oh the joy of having space!!! I'd always have to juggle apps moving them to the 2gb sd card I had before, was a pain. Phone seems to be running better now too.
 
Got treated to the a 3rd gen version yesterday! :)

Can anyone recomend a good Micro Sd card, i did have a scandisk ultra 32gb, but when i put that in the moto g and added it as internal memory it complained the card was slow. It did take a while to format, and my older Windows Phone had been reporting a few errors on the card at bootup.

So what micro SD card is best to use for internal memory, I have found a Sandisk Extreme U3 C10 32gb for £12 on the bay, but any other opinions would be appreciated.
 
Giving my old first generation 4G Moto G 8GB to a family member. Amazon have the 2GB version for £150 now - is there anything really that much better for around the same price??

More interested in battery life,sturdy build and a reasonable camera than a mega fast chip and I like the Android updates with the Moto G. O2 are doing refurbished Galaxy S5 phones for £160,but not so sure about having a phone that could be up to two years old with an AMOLED display,since I play a bit of Ingress and have seen screen burn-ins with older AMOLED phones when running it.

Is the Xperia M4 any good?? Reviews seem a bit hit and miss with it.

I just picked up a 3rd gen 16gb from Amazon warehouse and am over the moon with it, having recently had s6, p8 lite, 2nd gen 8gb, smart ultra 6 and lg g4 (currently in for repair).

I managed to pick up mine super cheap and was just open box by the looks of it, screen protector still on etc.

Smart Ultra 6 is comparative and £99 often, its bulky and camera is quite worse though.
 
I have got one, has it fit about a week now. It's a really good phone. Fast fit what it is, been using Spotify and Google maps at same time and haven't had any issues. Battery send very good so far too.
