I'd recommend picking up a cheap Atrix if your after a dual core/qHD Motorola phone right now (£199 for a refurbished one) The Razr's cost will drop significantly after a few months.

I'm after one of the flagship phones tbh, It's a case that I've got the money for one, so I'm going to get one. Each time I've talked myself out of buying the best around at the time, and regretted it, so gonna go with one this time.

Edit: Also, I think the Atrix is ugly as sin!

Cas - new motoblur:

Looks like from that video that it doesnt resize text on internet pages when you zoom in? On my HTC Desire it resizes. I wonder is that a feature of Android or the Browser?

The standard browser only resizes text with a double tap not pinch to zoom (HTC have a custom browser)

I dont think there is anything wrong with the bezel. Its by far my favourite looking phone for a long, long time.

It the bezels to the left and right of the screen that seem a little to big to me - just make it look a little dated. Not a massive issue though.

Edit - it maybe the rounded edges of the screen/glass that make the side bezels look bigger

Im not moving away from anything. I've got an lg optimus 7 which im keeping, but my last android was when the desire HD was brand new This razr is going to be a massive upgrade though

the screen on the DHD was disappointing to say the least - I think the speed and the screen of the RAZR will be a nice surprise for you.

Yeah, ive read up a lot about it, but you can't get a real feel for it until you actually have it in your hands. I think I'll love it though, just because I like the look of the phone so much!

after watching some videos im swaying away from this phone a bit, seems a lot of menus are white background with black text, and the moto blur doesnt look that useful, htcs sense [using currently] seems a lot more functional.

Well my functional phone is wp7, this is my plaything. Also, the menu's look fine? And the vast majority of people like the newest version of blur.

Its only for a month or so, then the optimus should be on its way. I've found myself in a situation where I could really do with 2 phones for a while. The RAZR is definitely going to be the main phone though
