Anyone looking forward to the release of this game? Has anyone played the previous titles? From the trailer videos, this next instalment of the Mount & Blade series will be absolutely amazing to play.

I've personally loved the Mount & Blade series and played countless hours of Warband. In fact, Warband was the game that introduced me to Steam of which I am very grateful for.

I'll update the original post with some links & info about the game and it's development. As far as I understand, it's still in the early stages of development but don't quote me on that.

Yeah. It'd be nice to see some additional features such as working ladders and animations for pushing the siege engine/ tower/ battering ram at least. I also like the fact that they've added some sort of voiced dialogue for when you're interacting with the NPC's for what seems to be the storyline for the game.

Correct. Also bare in mind that they've pushed With Fire & Sword + DLC's for Warband which makes me believe that Bannerlord was in development but was not their lead project for a while. In addition, they had to develop new stuff for their in-house game engine in order to increase performance for the more commonly used rigs today, add new assets/ animations etc. There was also talk of motion capture for some of the animations so that would've taken a while too.
