as long as its "normal" I'll just keep an eye on it.

oh, forgot i was going to ask. does anyone use one of those OneUp RAD cages on their rear mech? my SLX has been catching the expander cog and can't seem to get much more clearance using the B screw.

Can you use a bigger screw?

Mine keeps coming loose for some reason. Ready to put some loctiite on it.

Yay, all the things arrived here in Aus on Friday :)
Setting up the house by myself (wife still not here), so got the inside of the house in a relatively OK state.... then moved onto getting the bike sorted :D

Unsettlingly well, thanks . Kinda wondering what the catch is as everything is going exactly as I hoped.

Not taken much picks, its only a rental for now while we get settled.

Take the screw out and put it in backwards.

Alternatively search ebay for "long b tension".

I use a Goatlink on both my deralieurs (Deore Shadow+ on full sus and XT Shadow+ on hard tail) - really helps.

Well what a sucky weekend. Went to lady cannings Saturday morning, 10 minute in snapped a spoke. All sorted but a little too late to ride anywhere other than locally. So rather boring 10 miler.

Sunday gotta be better right? Cannock Chase, 15 minutes bent a wheel! It's a write off! Wish I didn't have spoke sorted now.

Any recommendations for 26 wheelset? Standard QR

Haha, well you're not far off. Our fridge doesn't fit into the spot it needs to go in the kitchen, so it's standing just offscreen to the left ... so the garage is the pseudo-kitchen now :p

I refuse to buy a new one, so it will have to do.

Joining up with some workmates this weekend, who just got into riding, so hopefully they'll have more of a clue on where to go than I have.
