Is relaunched in the UK today!

This probably doesn't merit a thread but I have a need to procrastinate, and I know a fair few folk on here will be fans of the stuff. It's going to have more caffeine than the original version and be marketed as an energy drink as opposed to a soft drink.

Are they selling it in the supermarkets?

I know it won't be a patch on the American stuff as the old stuff they used to sell here wasn't but I still want to try it
 
Been following their group on Facebook. Seems it's not in cans though, and it's going to be an energy drink in a bottle. Could be wrong though.

Edit: it won't be as good as Mountain Dew: Throwback which I had not to long back. Pure sugary goodness.
 
I think throwback was the same as the original version that everybody loved. This is supposed to taste the same but probably won't. Still it's a step closer to getting the original back!

it will be rubbish, wont be made with corn syrup so wont have the same taste as the usa version. its most likely going to taste the same as the Eu version with cane suger and its vile.
 
Funny enough there's a local thai shop in a market near me and i noticed they sold the dew, only it has a sticker on it so im assuming these are imported.

It tasted lovely, nice and sweet but not sickly, i can see myself hoarding the stuff now. :D
 
Wow, last time I had Mountain Dew (the real stuff) was about 20 years ago while on a US Air Base in the Oxford area....
 
W000t! About time, when I was over in US in November I couldnt stop drinking this stuff. Maybe will have to limit myself now it is here again!
