There are no instructions in the box, can someone please post me a link with some details please, as I dont want to get it wrong.
Mounting it on Northbridge used a solid copper heatsink for southbridge.
My board is a P5E
Thanks

Have another question aswell?
There is no way to secure my dual bay rez in my P182 as the holes dont line up with my mounting brackets so is it OK if I just leave it in the bay with no screws, as that is the only way I can do it.

x20 chipset block goes:

bolt>washer>mobo>washer>nut>block>spring>nut(big finger tighten one)

If you go to the XSPC website and look at the instructions for the Delta CPU block it works the same but with only 2 bolts :)

As for the bayres, thats rather odd... as 5 1/4" slots are standardised so it should fit in any =/ If you arn't going to be moving the case around then it should be fine just sitting there, but you might wanna get something to hold it in place...

There is another way to mount the block on a P5E. What i did was use the original NB backplate as that has the same thread as the mounting bolts for the block. I have mine set up like this:-

Backplate with bolts screwed in>Mobo>Block>washer>spring>washer>nuts.

As the backplate is'nt actually screwed to the motherboard it is loose until you tighten up the nuts which then pull the plate against the mobo. I have been running like this almost since the P5E was launched and have had no problems at all.

sussed that, hope I havn't done up the bolts to tight, did them until springs where compressed on both NB and CPU block
bet I have gone too far

Bayres fits fine but the holes for the screws are right at bottom so I cannot put the mounts that come with the P182 on, as they wont work, where they normally do for a cd-rom drive, they are too low.

Well I have managed to get it all working just leak testing now, been fine so far, still have to wire up the fans to fan control tomorrow and put GPU'S back in, so will get some temp readings tomorrow, I feel they are gonna be good.
