Mourinho beaten to a pulp!

but he didn't once mention Greening's overreaction for the Robben red card

The difference being is that even if Greening had reacted and simply got up and carried on Robben would still have to be shown a red card, its simply not acceptable for a player to take off with both feet in the air as a means of gaining the ball, he was no where near it because he was too busy learning to fly before Greening knocked it past him and made him look like a fool all because the poor kid got knocked to the ground in previous challenges.

WAIT ONE COTTON-PICKING MINUTE!!!

He's got about 8 years of being the person he is now to take that crown from Taggart :)

WHAT!!! you mean that little old Scottish man who manages Man Utd part time, surely not!! :D

He wouldn't harm a fly now-a-days.

Absolutely.
What's that got to do with Robson not mentioning his own players cheating though?:)

I don't want to add to this debate - its getting incredibly boring now.
The double standards in this are incredible - Robsons players can fling themselves to the ground in the penalty box, but Drogba is a cheat.
Robinson can run 40 yards to demand a red for Robben, but Chelsea's players are intimidating the ref.
Robson can be clearly seen swearing and abusing Chelsea players and staff at any opportunity, but if Mourinho reacts its unacceptable.

The Sun is great for this - day after the Barcelona game at the Bridge and they were already churning the handle on Chelsea fans in vengence threat to ref headlines, conveniantly overlooking how they printed Urs Meiers email address, exhorted readers to bombard him with letters, phone calls and e-mails and I seem to remeber even sent people to his home with flags and banners.
But thats just harmless fun isn't it?

As for Frisk, I still don't understand how you can get death threats, know who they came from, be upset enough to retire, but not go to the police.
Why not?
I also see that he is taking part in a cleverly scheduled programme on ITV tomorrow about refereeing - right after the Barcelona - Chelsea match on....ITV.
This is after he stated that he would not talk about these events ever again.

Load of carp.

Fair point but i wasnt getting at that, it was more aimed at the commment that Greening over reacted to Robbens challenge to get him sent off.

He did?

Sounded like nothing but sour grapes to me.
All managers complain when something goes against them but JM has taken it to a new level. How he can complain about Messi when in the same incident Del Horno rolled around on the floor just as much (if not more) and a couple of weeks back there was the Robben incident.
Its not just the diving incidents that is giving JM a bad name but the lack of grace he has when winning or losing. Refusing to shake Wenger or Robson's hand after the match; as its been pointed out before, even when Wenger and Ferguson were at the height of there rivalry they always shoock hands after the match.
As for labeling Rafa as no better than JM is a bit harsh; Rafa has never said a refereeing decision (or a dive) had lost us the game, he did complain that he felt the red car to Reina was unjust (which i think it was). Where as JM said that it was the decision of the referee that cost Chelsea the games against Barca this season and last season (first leg) and the semi vs liverpool.
I agree that most managers fail to see that, "what goes around comes around" and that "the decisions even themself out over the season", but none that i can think of have made such a big deal out of decision that went against them but a week previous, went for them (if that makes sence).

theres a big point that people are missing imo .

hes has a great football mind but his mouth is a disgrace imo .all this ohh poor him for getting spat on etc what about the travelling chelsea fans who could end up on the receiving end of thousands of barcelona fans . ive read a lot of opinions from chelsea fans and they respect his football mind but they cringe when he opens his mouth ,no one wants to become the most hated team in the premeirship never mind the whole world .
ive travelled away a few times following the toon and we have allways been treated fairly but i would hat eto be a traveling chelsea fan
