Hey guys,

After installing Driver Max (Saw it reccomended in a magazine) I installed a driver that was said to be out of date.

Once installed a message came up with something like "Your mouse and keyboard seem to not be working". It had a repair option later, but I couldn't select it, because my mouse and keyboard arnt working..

How do I fix this? The driver is on my HDD I guess, so setting up a spare HDD just to get Keyboard/mouse working and then deleting the drivers somehow?

I've done that now, but then because I'm using a different HDD it's encountering problems.

It's getting to the point where Windows reminds you that your in safe mode. The mouse and keyboard don't work for this part.

Edit: I'm now running the old HDD in the PC it came from (A Dell) and goig to attempt to slave the ew HDD.

If your using USB devices then set your BIOS to control the keyboard and mouse. May be called Legacy USB or similar.

Then boot from the original HDD, don't connect a second one. Press F8 just as Windows starts and you will see the Boot menu. Choose Safe Mode and boot into Windows. Remove the offending software and reboot.
