Just bought a new mouse, Trust MI-4950R.

Very happy apart from i dont seem to be able to program the extra buttons to do what i want them to do. I.e. i want to change button commands in games to do other things and change them so they bring up flip 3d in vista etc.

My previous mouse was a microsoft wireless intellimouse explorer and had the microsoft mouse utility to allow me to program all the buttons.

I've installed what came on the cd with this mouse but i think that is just drivers, nothing appears in the start menu and in the program files directory the .exe's dont launch anything.

Anyone know of an app that can allow me to do this? Or should there be some sort of Trust utility that i dont have or isn't working.

Thanks :)

yeah, the buttons work but i would like to ability to change what they do.

Buttons that change font size in ie/firefox ("zoom") arent really that useful. And if you have it in media centre mode you cant use the scroll wheel as that is then used for volume control.

Also, annoyingly the change track controls are the wrong way around. The button with a logo pointing forward skips to the previous track.

EDIT: i can set stuff to the 2 thumb buttons in games so theres surely a way to do it for just vista isnt there?
