Mouse cursor disappears in games?!

My m8's having this problem that in most games the mouse cursor disappears when you are playing games full screen. If you switch to windowed mode the cursor is there ok, as well as in all windows programs. So far games like crysis, settlers 6, battlefield 2142 etc its just guess work where your mouse is!!
Whats going on?? How can i fix this?
He's using a logitech cordless keyboard and mouse and has the latest up to date setpoint software installed.

You're joking, right?

FPS games like Crysis and BF2142 have a crosshair at the centre of the screen..

Am I just reading your post incredibly wrong, or are you looking for a Windows mouse cursor in your FPS games?

ok i never made it exactly clear.. its the cursor in the menu's etc of those games.

Is he using any cursor related apps such as cursor xp or cursor fx?

well all i ended up doing was turning off the aero cursor effect in control pannel and now it's all good... Dunno why he has to do that since i've not heard of that one before.. And his system scores an overall of 5.7 in vista (8800GTS 320MB)
