Ive just seen a mouse run across my bedroom floor

i don't get my room is clean and regularly hoovered so dont know why its here
will have to buy a trap tomorrow

do mice know how to climb up stuff im worried it might get on my bed while im sleeping

don't think i can sleep tonight knowing its here somewhere anyway :(

And they crap and pee everywhere.

Quite easily get into your bed I would imagine.

More seriously ;)

They love choclate, so altough I would not advise it maybe leave some in a room you are not sleeping in if you are that scared.

Are your neighbours filthy? Might have come from them, if you want a free mouse trap and advice call the council, rodents of public health significance so they won't charge you for pest control to come out.

Had a mouse in my room one time. Didn't realise until it crawled onto my pillow as I was laying down my head. Got the fright of my life.

So yes, they climb. :p

God these bloody pansy southerners, if it gets in your mouth just spit it out :p

Seriously though you can't sleep because you saw a mouse? I'll only live it down if you're female.

Get a cat :D

they'll be best buddies in no time! :D

It's never good when you're German Shepherd finds the mouse the cat's brought in alive, and stomps on it. Particularly when you have a fairly open weave carpet. Yeah, squished in mouse guts. Great fun. :(

Check your drawers m8.They like to look for materials for there nest.I've had them nibble and rip bit's of my clothes. Was quite a shock at the time.My wife was traumatised by it.My house is very clean and tidy.Didnt expect to have mice.probably a ickle field mouse taking cover from the downpours we've had recently.

It's a rat in that picture ;)

Stop being such a big girl. :p Living in the country we got tons of field mice in the house. Just get a humane trap and release it somewhere fairly far away. If you hear a snap trap going off and not killing the thing right, you defintaly won't be able to sleep!

Oh, and yes they can climb onto your bed. In our old flat we woke up to find something running over the covers. Got the fright of our lives thinking it was a mouse, turns out one of my rats found a way to open her cage!

My Gf and I had mice running through the walls of our old flat after the Landlord had done some modifactions to the block. They must have found some way into the flat as our cat had caught one and was toying with it. He would not kill it, so I had to do the manly thing and step on it (mouse not cat). I was suprised at crunching noise they make.

haha i feel sorry for you, i had a mouse in my bedroom years ago...somehow it had got into the house downstairs and managed to climb through the wall, got under the floorbaords and flippin pushed the carpet up in me room.

mate ended up hitting it with a plank of wood, i wouldn't advise this as the blood splatter it made wasn't pretty.
