Right have a G600 Logitech, it started clicking twice when I press left mouse button, not all the time but I would guess around 70% of the time have reset software, cleaned mouse, nada!

Its not had that much use, but had it around 18monthds min maybe a lot longer

Cleaned it?
Unscrew under the glide pads, buy spare before if needed from eBay.
I had a mx518 that would be as good as new after a yearly cleaning.

You can adjust the double click speed in windows mouse settings from memory but sounds like the switch is worn loose over time. Temp fix though if you try that.

It's almost certainly a mechanical fault resulting from the metal plate inside the switch bending.

I'd attempt to return it first, if under warranty.

Then try to fix it. I wrote a guide here after smashing the switch on my previous mouse. Only costs a couple quid in parts. No soldering necessary, just patience.
