mouse + keyboard combo

i need a new gaming set and have no idea about them. they both need to be wireless, or have 4 m long cables. i would prefer it if the usb receivors (assuing they are usb) arent too big. i will use it for gaming at 1900X1200 and want to spend as little as possible. im not bothered about it having loads of macros or extra buttons or anything, just something responsive and not too small. thanks in advance

The Logitech G7 is meant to be good wireless mouse for gaming. Best one at an affordable price atm i think.

It's a bit expensive, but the Razer Mamba is well worth it and you won't notice the difference between wired and wireless.

If you're so intent on wireless, then only the G7 or the Mamba would be the candidates, as the other wireless ones wont be as reliable.

The main differences between normal and gaming mice is the polling rate and the design.

thanks, the mamba is way out of my price range so i guess its the g7 then. however the logitech mx 1100 and revolution look prety good too and it will be easyer to get than the g7 is 1600dpi enough for gaming though? thanks guys

well the mouse is sorted, but what should i look out for in a keyboard? can a cheapo crappy one cause lagg in games? thanks
