Not a big problem but I was just thinking with the more expensive gaming mats, how old is your mouse mat and is it dirty.
I feel like tossing my everglide titan in the washer because forking out another tenner for a new mouse mat feels wrong.
My ''mouse mat'' is my desk.
Both my desks wear quite quickly, both reveal the cheap glued pulpwood underneath:

Excuse the poor pics, my k750i camera is really poor in dark conditions...
get your self some blue tack and varnish, put a square of blue tack the size you want your mouse mat and then fill it with about 1-2 mm deep varnish cover it with something like a washing up bowl to stop dust, till it dries remove bluetack and you have a superb hard wearing very smooth surface.

I don't know if we have such a thing in the NL, I'm not sure if it's the perfect solution though for me as I'm planning to change my mouse position a bit soon, atm It's restricted to that small worn bit between my keyboard and my old CRT monitor, both my TFT and CRT's are going soon though because when my dad coughs up some money he promised me, I'm buying a shiny 24'' er which means I'll have all the space to move my mouse far more right, or even place a mouse mat ( atm even the smallest mouse mat is like 2x too big for my mouse area lol.). What I'm coming to is, I think I'll get a proper mouse mat myself soon when I get the space, which will prolly be more efficient than a fixed mouse mat...
Razer eXactmat, must be about 2 years old now, still in A1 conditionGiven it a clean with a cloth now and then, but because it's metal, it doesn't really attract grime :/
Im using a Tesco 90p mouse mat![]()
isnt that technically a competitor lol![]()
