Mouse mat question.

Hi folks.

I have on of the original hard plastic steel series pads with the rough textured surface. It worked brilliantly with the old teflon feet on my G5 but logitech have changed to a PTFE material that scratches and does not glide well on a plastic textured surface.

I need a mouse mat for my G500 (I wont be replacing the feet with teflon ones) for between 10 and 15 quid, which one do you reccommend? I'm guessing I need to go cloth this time, are they inferior?

I would say they are not inferior, its really down to personal prefernce. I've used a razer cloth mat for years and it helped to improve my game.
