Ok guys ive ran into a little problem last night. My system has been running great since i built it last month, not a problem till now. What happened is..
I uninstalled a programme called virtual cd, which is like daemon tools. Then restarted the system. Boots up fine everytime but since removing that programme im unable to use the mouse when windows is loaded. Everything around it works, steam loads msn etc. But im just not able to do anything. Now ive tried a few things, different usb's thinking maybe a usb port has failed, but no luck there. Also ive tried removing all uneccesary cables without any luck. Tried removing my overclock and cmos with no luck either. It just seems strange that removing a small programme like that could cause this. Now next stage for me is to try a system restore via windows 7 disk, but im pretty sure i disabled system restore for my ssd with it only being 60gb to save space. So i may have to do a clean format. Seems to me my drivers have messed up removing that programme. Now if anyone here can think of a thing i can try here please let me know.
Also i don't know if this is related but i have an external dvd writer Hp1040 , that also stopped working a few days ago and windows could no longer install its drivers. So guys any advice would be fantastic.
Edit - sorted this with a system restore 24 hours roll back.
