Mouse problems

I recently bought a steelseries ikari from overclockers http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=KB-004-ST&groupid=702&catid=23&subcat=3
the first few weeks it kept randomly cutting out for 5-10 seconds then it went too being fine and now it cuts out everytime i even slightly lift it off the mousemat. Is if a problem with the mouse or my system? im running vista 64.

Probably the mouse, I'd RMA it.

Yep, RMA that badboy, even with Vista being Vista it's definately a mouse hardware problem.
