Mouse recommendation? (NOT Razer!)

I bought a Razer Mamba 2012 recently and RMA'd it because the left mouse button squeaked loudly. It sounds like a petty complaint but it was very irritating and not what I'd expect for a mouse that costs so much.

They confirmed it was a problem and sent a new one back, which worked fine but then after 2 days the wireless mode just stopped working so I'm RMAing it again for a full refund.

First experience with Razer, and thoroughly disappointed!

Anyway what's a good mouse to get? I'd like one with wired mode AND wireless if possible, but I'm ok if it's wireless only.

Also the mamba was £100, I'd rather get 2 for that amount of money (one for office, one for home).

Any recommendations? The home one will be for gaming, office one for office things.

This, plus a Logitech M510 for the office, takes you up to your £100 budget. I use a first generation Razer Mamba at home and an M510 at work, and for non-gaming use it's difficult to tell the difference (neither mouse squeaks, which is a bonus ;)). One area where there's a vast difference is battery life; I got the M510 in July last year, and I've changed the battery once, whereas I have to charge the Mamba daily.

G700 is a great mouse! Make sure you use rechargeables though otherwise it'll get expensive! I managed to get mine for £30 second hand.
The battery changing doesn't bother me as I have 4 spare Eneloops so doesn't matter if I forget to charge a couple.

I like my G700 but somewhat disappointed that the side thumb buttons aren't micro-switches. Not much feedback to indicate that you've pressed it.

I love my Saitek Cyborg R.A.T. 9, a lot of people seem to have issue with the sensor, but it's the best mouse I've ever owned. No wired mode unfortunately, but hot-swappable batteries that are pretty easy to change on the fly.
