Mouse recommendation :)

Razer lachesis. Thats what I use. Not sure if you can get them new now. Up to 4000 DPI (more than enough). Its wired which I prefer because Ive had to many issues with Wireless mice in the past.

Its really one of those things you just have to experience yourself. Go with the overall feel of responses and if its a reasonable price, try it out.

Went from a diamondback to a copperhead then onto the deathadder that im using now and it is so much better then the other two, cant recommend it enough. (1800dpi version)

My sidewinders battery charging cable went and got shagged after 3 weeks, i'd have brought it back but i lost the reciept and any other proof i bought it too, bloody cash, thats why i <3 my Visa....

Its a darn comfy mouse, but its basically just a big piece of M$ , the rat mouse is far cooler if you want a hulking jagged shape of black on your desk.

Deathadder seems to be a pretty clear winner here then. Mx518 was also a possibility since people recommending it had already tried copperhead but if the it is a fair bit slower than the copperhead, then i'd rather not go there since i've gotten very used to the 2000 on the copperhead and can't imagine going back to a slower mouse.

The saitek looks a bit too wierd for my taste. I want something relatively normal looking :p

I've heard some good things about the Logitech G500 which I haven't seen mentioned here much. Is that something to consider or is Deathadder far better?

They're both decent, personally I'd go for the Deathadder because of the shape and the scrollwheel is of higher quality.

Using a G500 here and find it very good, the three buttons on the left are very handy, also a pretty comfortable mouse to use. Bit cheaper now as well from when i got mine.
