Mouse Sensitivity Issues

Hi there,

I recently bought this cheap 1600dpi PC Line Laser Mouse. Unfortunately this mouse has an extremely high sensitivity that I can't play some games with it (my pointer moves too far with just a little movement on the mouse). I've tried changing the mouse sensitivity in Control Panel, but that only changes the sensitivity in the Windows, not in the games I play. I've tried decreasing the sensitivity options to minimum in the game options menu but it still isn't enough.

I'm just wondering whether there is a software or something that can change my mouse sensitivity in the games or something like that, or if not, whether there is a way to solve this issue.

Cheers

PS: I'm using Windows XP SP3.

The mouse being cheap isn't the problem here, it's the fact that the DPI can't be changed. Most decent mouse come with software so you can change the sensitivity on the mouse itself and some others like the MX518 can be set up so you can change DPI on the fly.

The only way you can resolve this is to turn the sensitivty right down through control panel and then alter the sensitivity in game.

Ask for a new mouse for Christmas :)

Buy an MX518 mate they are dated now so comparitively cheap, It is in my opinion the Ultimate gaming mouse & one of it's features is on the fly adjustment of sensitivity, This Really comes into its own when switching between an Assault weapon & a sniper rifle. Or working around your desktop on different types of projects.
Worth every single penny it costs & backed up by the best after sales in the business.
