Hi,

Very recently i have found that while i am dragging with my mouse it seems to unclick and let go of whatever i am dragging. Also i think it may be double clicking sometimes when i only click once (possibly) but it defnately unclicks when dragging.

I have checked my mouse and it is fine as i have two, one wireless and one wired, both do the same thing.

i have done a system restore to before the problem was happening and that has not solved it.

The unclicking is not restricted to windiows desktop as when playing games etc it still does it.

Im running vista 64, 5 gb ram, phenom 2 940 and an hd4870.

oh and its a wireless logitech mouse but im pretty sure its ok.

On another note on startup my system is very slow when loading up windows but seems to be ok once everything is going.

if anyone could help with this problem it would be much apreciated.

this is usually always IME worn/dodgy/moved microswitch/button

suggest otherwise though, strangely.

This could be any one of about 5 billion problems. Probably the most common thing with computers is 'it's running slow'

Jut give it a clean up, ccleaner, clean the temp files, compact the registry, disable all the stuff from loading at startup, etc
