Mouse upgrade time. £50.

I love my SteelSeries Ikari laser. DPI can be adjusted in increments of one, so you can have whatever you like. Extremely comfortable for me (I have very big hands). I've been very happy with it.

Doesn't the Naga buttons just use the same bindings as the numbers on the KB? Thus making it pointless?

Well it does use the KB buttons, because essentially that's all there is. But pointless? If you can imagine using WASD for movement, your mouse for axis and attack and then in combat trying to hit Shift-G, you need to stop, locate the key, press it and then reorientate yourself. having 12 buttons under your thumb is a god send, plus you can macro common sequences and the like. I wouldn't say you need a Naga to play an knot but it sure does help!

On my 2nd deathadder now but wouldn't change it for anything else.
I tried a coolermaster sentinel laser mouse and just couldn't get on with it. The cursor seemed to jump about a lot. I think laser mice are pretty fussy about the surface.

My first deathadder lasted about 2 years but then the plastic button on the micro switches wore down so when clicking it didn't always register.

Another thing to consider is lift off distance if you're an fps gamer. I'm used to lifting the deathadder just a a couple of mm when turning quickly in counter strike for example where as the laser would still register the movement and I had to lift it a lot higher to avoid that.

I had a Deathadder before my current mouse which is G400, the G400 is good but if you got big hands like me it can feel a bit uncomfortable whereas the Deathadder fitted perfectly plus it felt more accurate/precise.

The G400 is very good though but i probably go back to a Deathadder eventually too bad they do not last as long.

Free awesome mouse mat aswell! :D

I personally use a Roccat Kone which has had to be replaced once due to the scroll wheel breaking but apart from that it is great, love the extra weights you can add to it!

I bought this a month ago when my copperhead died. At 1st i tried to use it on my woodgrain desk and it did not like that (probably because it is laser not optical) But i gave in and 'installed' the giant mouse mat that came free. It feels absolutely perfect now. Very happy with my purchase.
