So it's 2am and a mouse just came walzting upto the couch.

Solutions to catch this ballsy mammal?!

No idea, but i caught one with a tube from a christmas wrapper by placing it along the skirting. I scared it into the tube, then killed it outside.

If you lay a trap for it then use chocolate. When I caught my mouse it ignored cheese for days and on the first night of using chocolate it fell for the trap.

Top and Jerry you are a fake!!!

Should have just let it live and moved it somewhere else to be honest. Very poor show killing it :(

/b/ to the rescue.

No way you have 1 mouse, you have several and need to sort them out asap.

Tbh the best solution is to buy the traps with jaws that will kill them quickly, if you use the humane ones you will need to take the little guys several miles out before letting them go....at which point they wont know where they are and be eaten anyway.

Chocolate is good in the traps as noted above - you also need to find and remove their food source and block off any ways in you can find.

Tbh the best solution really is a cat if you so happen to have one thats "borrowable"

'It it wiv an 'ammer, boris.

Seriously though, dress up an old furby as a sexy lady mouse to tempt it out and bash it with a frying pan or waffle skillet, that should work. Bear in mind there will be a mouse shaped indentation in the pan so use an unwanted one.

I had the same happen to me last week - After researching I got two kness snap-e mouse traps for £9 and used peanut butter as bait. Caught 4 in 4 days. (I thought there was only one)

Thankfully I think that is all of them now
