Move history page / file in IE

Just a short question really - I know where the history file is in IE but can you tell IE to place and use the file in another location (directory) rather than the default one?

Yes, you need a reg hack.

Using regedit, Start - Run - regedit

Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Key: Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\UserShellFolders
Name: History
Data Type: REG_SZ
Value: insert new path here

You don't have to edit the registry > open IE > tools > Internet options > 'tempory internet files' settings > move folder. Saves any registry accidents.
