Moved aperture library from MBP to iMac and its not happy!

Hello

Could anyone help please because I've got my new iMac today and moved my aperture library across from my macbook pro but I'm getting lots of problems with the files.

As I brows the photos they disappear and it jumps back to a different picture.

I've deleted and recopied the library twice and its exactly the same.

Any ideas please??

have you just tried exporting all of you projects to your imac, did this for one i did in the field on my MBP worked ok

I didn't realise you could export the projects. I've exported all the unedited images as masters and the edited as versions and I'm now importing them into the iMac aperture library. A lot longer than I would have expected this to take but never mind!!

Just for those who are thinking of upgrading to an iMac even though aperture has given me a slight bit of gyp so far I adore the iMac.

Importing the images back into aperture is so so rapid it really outpaces my Macbook Pro!
