Hi all

Hope this helps someone...

Sky seemed to forget to tell me that I needed to change some settings on my router for it to work......3 day no internet and loads of my time wasted and Skys money by sending a engineer out and and then giving up and putting new router in post.....anyway the sky support is useless as I fixed myself by changing router settings to below, sky support seems to have no idea.... -

So anyway anyone who wants to us there own router here are settings -

Encapsulation: PPPoA (PPP over ATM)
login/username: [B][email protected][/B]
Password: install
Idle Timeout: 0
Internet IP Address: Get Dynamically from ISP
Domain Name Server (DNS) Address: Get Automatically From ISP
NAT: Enable
Multiplexing Method: VC-BASED
VPI: 0
VCI: 38
MTU: 1500

Is the password definitely install, the one they gave us and that we use is password using that same login email address.

Well mines install but have read posts saying they use password so guess if one doesn't work try the other one
