Hey all,

Just watched the film falling down again, been a few years since i last seen it i think this movie is brilliant at portraying a person who is on the end of his tether and begins to fight on everyday issues, the mcdonalds seen is absolutley priceless.

If you've never seen this id certainly recommend it to anyone :D

Michael douglas is the main character in this movie and i think its his best acting.

Bit of an oldie early 1990's :)

I ranted on twitter ages ago about being in the McDs drive thru queue which I joined at 10:15, I was the last car in the queue and I got to the window it was 10:31 and I was told breakfast was over. A friend simply replied "Did you Fall Down?"

Now everytime I rant about something he accuses me of "Falling Down."

Love that film.

I have to watch this movie again! Only saw it once - years ago - and loved it. Thanks for the reminder :)

One of my top ten favourite films... and a girl has my only copy.

One day I'll just snap and go get it back.

Damn fine film my best scene has to be the golf course.

"What's wrong?"
"My - heart..."
"Well, what can I do about it?"
"Pills... get p-pills..."
"Where are your pills?"
*points towards the golf cart, which has just plunged into the water*
"Bad news. Your little car's gonna drown. And you're gonna die, wearing that stupid hat. How does it feel?"

:D

Whammyburger is a classic scene :D The vomit "Think we have a critic" and Sheila's "You can call me Miss Folsom if you want" always make me smile.

Supoib film

The script is brilliant

Another great scene when he's at the contruction about 3/4 way through the film where he has a bazooka

Kid : ''What's the movie called?''
Douglas: errr ''under contruction''

love it :D

I bought it on Blu-ray not so long back. Hadn't seen it since the days of VHS. Fabulous film, looks superb in HD, and a bargain at £5.

Great film, though did anyone else feel let down by the ending?

When we found out that instead of being a normal bloke who was pushed over the edge by modern life, he was an everyday nut job all along?

Yes and no, insofar as his notjob-ness was still largely a product of his circumstances and the pressures of his suburban life.
