Movie Maker

I use windows movie maker and for some reason when I add audio, there is absolutely no sound what so ever. I have checked all the voulmes and nothing!!
Doe's anyone know what could be wrong?

You mean during preview or after it has been rendered?

Perhaps a codec issue?

Thing i get with Movie Maker is that sometimes it freezes up!! Happens quite a bit. Really annoying!
