Moving a program from an SSD to NVME. Also HDD advice

I currently have some program files running from SSDs.
My new build will be using NVME drives but I need to be able to run the same programs.
Can these be migrated over ok?

New OS install too.

Also, I'll be installing a couple of large capacity storage drives just to back everything up to, Seagate Barracuda seem to fit the bill.
Any better drives for the money? Speed isn't an issue, just want large reliable storage/backup.

So the issue I have.
I have Solid Works that my brother gave me a licence to. No idea if I can get the key again and, I don't want to lose that but I will be installing a fresh OS onto an NVME.

Currently all, of my program files (solidworks inc.) are on a 1 SSD and OS on another. Would it be an option to do a fresh install of WIndows onto the NVME and then just plug in the SSD with SW on and reinstall?
