Moving a window

Hi all,

I want to put a conservatory up, on which the planning and building regs requirements are clear. However I therefore need to move my kitchen window by 1-2 ft.

Do I need planning permission for this? Or structural regs?

have you already got the permissions for the conservatory? Have you gone to an architect or a conservatory manufacturer for the extension? planning wise you will get that under permitted development but you still need to write to the council to make sure. you will need a building warrant for it but you can apply for that at the same time as the conservatory / have it as an amendment to warrant if you've already got the permission.

Thanks I will-do. I was guessing the answer could be "maybe", but I was kinda hoping someone would come on and say "no way would that need planning permission".
