Moving driver reinstall needed?

So i have just built an x58 system and i want to move my drive from my z87 to that system can i just boot into windows and reinstall drivers or will i need a full reinstall.

I am going to put a fresh drive in the z87 but i would like to nolose my info in the change if i dont have to, it also saves my 2days downloading games and updates onto the x58 system

I went from a old AMD system to a intel I7 950 system and I didn't need to re install just installed new hardware and was ready to go

What operating are you using - also retail or OEM.

I did this with Windows 8.1 and all went well.

Windows 7 64bit retail.

If you can go amd to intel i should be ok intel to intel

Personally I would do a fresh install otherwise you are going to have a load of irrelevant drivers on there. People have done it before though.
