I currently have a 3 contract but they are offering me nothing decent as an upgrade. My fiancee is also on 3 and is a much better customer than me ( 
) so they are willing to offer her a really good deal on a second contract which I will use. Obviously I want to keep my number so my plan is to port from 3 to Tesco PAYG (free SIM) and then back to 3. Are there any problems with this plan? Do I need to top up the Tesco SIM to activate it or can I port to and from it without spending anything?
