moving from aol to bt broadband

    a friend has finally had enough of aol after 4 years and is moving to bt.

    he runs an ebay business and wonders how long it will take to change over to the new isp.

    is it likely to be smooth changeover...would there be any potential issues withthe aol software being removed etc.

    The ADSL part of it should be seamless (change username and off you go basically) - the only issue you're likely to have is with the AOL software.

    You will need to blow torch you system to get AOL off it ;) It's like the Knight from Monty Python's Holy Grail, it just doesn't know when to go down.
