I think this just about fits in this "storage" forum
We have a Synology 2 port NAS that is coming to end of life. It's out of warranty so we need to get things up and running again.
Can I simply buy a newer NAS - say the DS213J and simply slam in the disks from the older NAS and I'd be able to access my data?
The disks in the old NAS are in a RAID 1 array and I'd like to simply be able to see that in the new NAS.
Just wondered if anyone else has done this?
