Not sure if this is the right section to post this under or if it should've been in Apple Software.
I've been syncing my iPhone with iTunes on my laptop, but it's an old laptop and is struggling with iTunes.
I was hoping to install iTunes on a desktop PC and sync my iPhone with that. But I don't want to sync the phone with the new PC and have it wipe the phone.
Is it safe to do this? Will it copy the info from the phone to the PC or do I need to do something clever?
Also...
Can I create a new user account and install iTunes to just that account so the other account are unaffected by any background processes iTunes may run? (Or will the background process affect every user account?)
I'm using WinXP (32-bit) by the way.
Thanks for any help/advice.
