Well I just cancelled my sim only plan on T-mobile, and i plan to get either a Desire or Galaxy s from a 3rd party company but still on T-mobile. So I was just wondering could i just ring up t-mobile and get the PAC for my current Number then move it over to the new contract I get. Reason im asking is cause when I got my sim only I had to move to anoher company then move back to t-mobile which took forever and was really annoying and I dont want to do that agian.

If they haven't cancelled already, tell them to stop what they are doing and ask for a PAC number. If they cancel, then you've lost the number.

If it's still on T-Mobile, then you will have to port the number to another operator first.

The guy over the phone said he would make it a PAYG but I would need to top up 15£ which is do automatically. IF u just cancel does is it free?

Well if you get a PAC, then your sim only plan will cancel when the porting happens and you should get a refund for the part month you didnt use. If you port now, I believe you lose the £15 you topped up.

I didnt top up, the guy over the phone said that onces the sim only is over they would chagre me 15£ to make it active and I would get it as credit, sorry for not making it clear and thanks for all the help. Lastly If i get my PAC CODE for the sim only Could i prt it directly to my new contract, if so ill buy it now to save the 15£ it cost to active the sim only to PAYG.

Thanks a lot for the help dude.

Precisely, so get it now and you save the £15 they will make you pay. You shouldn't have to purchase a PAC either unless you have a contract obligation.
