Right, I've just bought a 24" Dell monitor :D and it seems my aging x1650 isn't quite up to powering this monitor.:( Its fine doing the normal stuff, but when it comes to viewing HD (1080 x 1200) video then it starts to struggle (Juddering).

I have a budget of £150, what should I be looking at to get? As I don't play that many games, I'm more interested in watching HD video, so I would have thought it would have to be an ATI based card, but which one?

Any suggestions?

if you have £150 to spend why not get something that will play video well, but also play games at native res ok, i asume you mean 1920x1200? Maybe try and get a 3870xt, they go for £130ish delivered somewhere else... If not a 3850pro would be ok.
