Iv just bought a 60gb SSD and I want to use it as a scratch disc, which is fine but I also want to move my paging files to it as well.

My question is will this be detrimental to my PC? I have heard that you can corrupt the OS by moving the paging files, is this true?

Many thanks Buzz

Typically I disable it, then create the new one.

Unless you've got a thousand things open, it won't be an issue. The worst that can happen is it will say 'low on memory'

I would say just move the paging file config over how you want it, then restart. The page file won't magically move until you restart anyway. I've never done it any different.
