I am currently with Orange (now EE). My contract ends on the 3rd of November. I want to move to three onto a sim monthly contract.

I read though on the 3rd they will just automatically charge me for another month. I presume then I need to have migrated away from Orange before the 3rd to prevent this happening? Sounds like I need to start the migration process on the 27th of October to get migrated within the last week of the month and before the weekend of the 1st/2nd of November?

As long as you've given them a months notice before the 3rd you'll be OK :)

What he said.

I'll be doing that on the 10th for myself.
I did that for my missus, informed them 1 month ahead (plus 1 day as the month ahead happen to be on a weekend). Got the code, migrated over as the contract comes to an end, done without a hitch.

I thought by getting the PUK and giving it to three who then invoke the move is effectively enough to suggest I no longer need their services?

Yup but its the PAC you want not PUK,
Just ring as for PAC,, the contract will end the day you give the PAC to three. PAC is valid for 30 days at which point your EE contract will continue as normal if you havent used it.

Sorry yes PAC. So to make the most of my current contract I should ideally look to be giving the PAC on the 27th of October correct?
