I currently have my OS/data drive in a RAID-1 array. I'm building a new computer with a SSD for the OS but I want to keep the data drive RAID-1'd.
Is it possible to either move the entire array across to the new computer or (more likely) rebuild the array on the new computer without having to erase and restore the data to the disk after creating the array?
Obviously the data is backed up on another disk but it would be quicker and easier if I could just rebuild the array without it erasing the disk
