Hi people,
Quick info about me....i like consoles, but im not bored and want a PC

Im an Electrician by trade, so i was thinking of buying all the parts separate, then building the PC myself to save money. (i will learn how to build it online and through research - also my uncle has some exp)

BUT....
I need help with this. Because im not sure what parts to get. And what part "fits" what part etc etc

What im asking from you guys is if you can give me a list and prices of the best bits to get....or if thats too much to ask maybe give me a name and price of the main components that make a "gaming PC"

The price on the total build - im looking at £1000 ish.. up if needs be - as ill be buying a couple of parts (or 1 if its expensive) every pay day, until i have everything. :)

So yeah :) i need Overclockers help :)

cheers, thanks

i7 CPU and a PSU ready for a 2nd GFX card in SLI

would the 2nd one (the £1,020.91) - would that run top end games? on high setting?

and are they all the bits i need (excluding operating system) to get the PC working? (sorry about the noob questions)

It will run games at 1080P resolution at high/max without issue.

Everything is there including cables and thermal paste etc.

whats the purpose of the SSD aswell on the 2nd one?
would i need to get any cables? as when i open computers i see lots of cables lol?
and the the graphics card 970... is the 980 worth the extra money? or not really noticeable?

The SSD is MUCH faster than a HDD, use it like a normal drive and install the OS and as many games to it as you can.

Do build it yourself, so you get good parts (as listed) and save the building fees (around £60 if you ask)

2 more question :P (until i think of another one) - them items you listed.....do they all fit together .. as i saw stuff on youtube, where someone got all the parts and some didnt fit the motherboard etc etc

and the case, on google someone said about some motherboards dont fit the case because the mounting holes (for the motherboard to mount onto case) dont match up

Everything fits, trust me Im good at this.

The case takes ATX sized board which they both are.

The case will take the cooler and still get the side panel back on and it will take the GFX card without interfering with the drive cages.

sweet :) just checking ;) haha !

also im not sure if my other question was answered earlier .. .about the graphics card being 980? ...

is there much difference in price.... and would i see a recognizable difference or better FPS in gaming?

everything is abbreviated haha hard to grasp :P
foster, is the graphics card 980 worth getting or does it not make much difference to FPS during gaming etc etc .. as its a lot more i think
