I currently have a Panasonic DMC FX9 which I'm finding too limiting due to the lack of zoom!

I want to move on to a Nikon DSLR, but don't know which model I should go for. I do know that I want one with a built in AF motor (in the body) as I want to experiment with different lenses - hopefully in time the 10.5mm fisheye...

So, I'm thinking D80 or 90, but would appreciate some advice.

D80 - old sensor - would this be a problem?
D90 - expensive! but good cashback (£60) and 4% Quidco cashback!

Thanks ;)
