Hi all, I'm a bit new to this, so would appreciate a bit of help if you can.

I wanted to try out Windows 7, but since this was my first ever go at dual booting, I played things safe and installed it onto my old IDE storage drive rather than my main drive (a pair of Raptors in RAID0). Since then I haven't gone back to XP once, but obviously want to keep it installed just in case, however I'd like to migrate Windows 7 onto my RAID drives to speed it up even more.

I've got about 40GB of free space on there, but I'm not sure of the best way to go about it. There seem to be tools within W7 to shrink the volume and create a partition, and I could use the free trial of acronis to move things across, but I'm not sure if this is the best way. I have Partition Magic 8, but haven't tried installing it yet so not sure if it's compatible.

Any advice appreciated :)
