Hi,

Windows is installed onto a Raptor 37 Gb drive (don't ask why iv no idea why I done it) as you can imagine the drive is fairly full.

Is there an easy way for me to "clone" or move the whole info across to a larger drive?

or is it a case of having to re-install?

Thanks

Jason.

Thanks for the reply,

Could you just give me a quick guide to what is involved?

I am guessing - plug the full drive and the new drive I want to use both into another machine, then use the software to move the data over?

thanks again.

Jason.

Quick guide

1. Install Easeus
2. Plug the new HDD into the same PC that boots off the raptor *Only install/uninstall discs once the PC is shutdown and switched off at the wall - not disconnected, just switched off. This ensure that no power can get to the PC but you still have an earth connection for grounding static
3. Use EASEUS to clone the raptor drive to the new HDD - also resize the copied partition to use as much space on the new drive as you want/need
4. Once complete - shut down the pc - remove the raptor
5.Restart the PC and go straight to the BIOS, make sure that the new disc is the boot disc
6. Boot to the new disc
7. Once everything is working and you are happy - install the old raptor back into the PC and use Easeus to delete the partition and recreate an empty partition, so that you can use the disc for data.
