Is it just me or has this season been another weird one, I’ve hardly needed to mow the lawn.
I remember years past I was constantly mowing the lawn weekly, but this summer perhaps 2-3 times!

Been mowing weekly since approx. April (maybe every 2 weeks in April then every week may onwards ).

In fact due to the constant rain I could have mowed a bit more often as it growed a bit more relative to past summers.

Thread hijack.

It is nearly that time again. Back lawn is growing like crazy, rain and warmth. Front not so much but i need to rake some moss out.

Sharpen mower blade and trimmers and wait for several dry days on the trot.

the best and most reliable mower I have ever owned is so old now that the deck has rotted to the point it is collapsing.

the engine still runs like new and it starts every time so might look into the price of getting a new deck fitted.

Praying the rain holds until the weekend so I can give the back garden a trim, although Thursday and Friday look pretty bleak.
The second hand Hyundai 80cc probably needs an oil change but it's been faultless so far.

Too damb so far wher i am to get the mower out currnetly. Want to start soon as want to give the garden some top dressing and reseed it to make it better then last years.

New lawn for me this year, when I can be bothered to rent a skimmer to remove the old grass.

Its far too lumpy/bumpy to save, it lasted eight years so will be nice to get a fresh one down.
