Mozilla Splash

doesn't seem to slow down the startup time, and gives you somthing to look at for the 1 second that its loading so ner :D
 
well without it, mine loads up in well under a second -basically instant, -can't tell the speed difference between ie6 and ffox on this pc anyway.., with that extention loaded, it takes about 2 seconds!

How long does ff take for you on a cold boot?

Surely if it took any less than 2 secs you wouldn't see the splash?! :)

proberly becasue the splash screen is set to stay on for 3 seconds default, which you can change as I did to 1 second and haven't noticed a speed difference
